CHASING My DREAMS by DAY
and My KIDS at night
For a long time, I thought I was doing everything right.
I was building businesses with my husband.
Raising three incredible boys.
Holding tightly to my faith.
Going after meaningful work.
From the outside, it looked like a beautiful life. And it was.
But somewhere along the way, I slipped into autopilot-- incredibly efficient at getting things done, running things smoothly, and making sure everyone had everything they needed.
And I was running on fumes.
My life was so full of goodness, but I rarely came up for air to notice it. The trouble was, I didn't really want to do less. I'm not sure I could do less. And yet, I wondered if I could learn to be more present, to become more of a noticer.
I began to make some room.
Not to increase productivity, but to slow down enough to recognize the beauty and purpose that had been there all along.
Today, whether I am speaking on a stage, mentoring women, hosting the Room for Lovely podcast, or gathering around a retreat table... my hope is the same.
FINDING INSPIRATION FROM
Slow mornings, walks down my woodland lane, good coffee, Spotify, sunshine, and making a house home.
Now, I help people stop living on autopilot and make room to notice God, goodness, and themselves again.
If we're gonna be friends
charcuterie is the way to my heart.
I love to garden,
but it doesn't always
love me back.
happiest at home.
with this guy.
I am almost always,
always driving these
three jokers around.
(And I wouldn't have it
any other way)
All about
Being home, good music, delicious food, random kindness, making things lovely, and taking bold, shaky steps of faith.
NOT ABOUT
Hustle culture, comparison, tomatoes or olives, calls instead of texts, regret, unnecessary mess, mediocre anything.
agree? I knew we would hit it off.
